We are Mads and Sofie – a married couple, parents, and the team behind Maul Weddings.
We live in Ringsted, Denmark, with our three children and a life filled with love, chaos, and coffee. When we’re not with our little crew, we spend our time doing something we truly love – capturing the love between others.
We believe that good chemistry and trust are the keys to creating honest and beautiful photos. Being photographed should feel natural – like spending time with two people you’ve known for years. We make it a priority to listen, understand, and give space – and we’re never afraid to crawl into a bush, jump into a lake, or chase the perfect light if that’s what the picture calls for.
We love atmosphere over posed shots, and we always strive to capture not only the big moments but also everything that happens in between. Our style is inspired by Nordic nature – muted tones, soft light, and those little details that say so much.
And yes – we love to travel with our cameras. We’ve had the great honor of photographing weddings in Norway, Iceland, Mexico, and the Faroe Islands, and we’re more than happy to pack our bags to join you, no matter where in the world you’re getting married. The adventure doesn’t end at the border – that’s where it truly begins.
